DESIGN/BUILD:
WHOLE HOUSE REMODEL W/ADDITION
Included: new kitchen, new master suite, 2 bathroom remodels, new deck, additional built-ins including bookcases, bench w/storage, desk, and custom cabinetry.
The 1906 house had not been updated since the 1950s when a half bath and laundry room were installed behind the kitchen toward the rear yard. In addition, there was no half-bath on the first floor, the one second-story bathroom which was leaking was shared by all of the bedrooms and the general layout of the house provided an awkward set of rooms without storage opportunities

There were numerous design challenges the client hoped to achieve with the space: open kitchen design with ample storage, a half-bathroom, a front hall closet, and a master-bathroom with a walk-in closet. The house was also in dire need of structural repair.
The remodel was designed and built by Studio Z providing both architectural and structural plans for permit approval. Studio Z also provided all the built-ins and custom cabinetry.
